The benefits of dance participation for individuals experiencing multiple chronic health conditions.

Open to both men and women

The Sheridan Centre for Elder Research is conducting a pilot project that explores the benefits of dance participation for individuals experiencing multiple chronic health conditions.

You are invited to participate in 12 weeks (2 classes a week) of complimentary dance classes at Sheridan College.

Participants must be experiencing mobility issues and at least 2 other chronic health conditions (e.g. high blood pressure, chronic pain, arthritis). No formal dance training in the past year.

Personalized modification to instruction will be offered!

This study has been approved by Sheridan’s Research Ethics
Board. Participants in this study cannot have participated in a
previous Centre for Elder Research study in the last six months
